Very excited to be offering a seasonal yoga nidra series at Bridge Refill Market in Erie. We’re kicking it off with some spring rest March 26th, and space is limited!

Who is this for? Teens and adults who would like to rest! Yoga nidra is accessible to all ages, however this event in particular is better suited to those ages.
What is yoga nidra? A deeply nourishing yoga practice that requires no movement. It is practiced lying down, and is a form of guided relaxation that supports rest, sleep, mental clarity and creativity. Studies have shown it helps alleviate stress and anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain, while improving cognitive function, memory, and overall wellness. Basically - it’s magic :)
What if I’ve never done yoga or meditation before? Come!
What should I bring? A yoga mat and a water bottle. If you don’t own a yoga mat, let me know. Really any extra layer underneath you (like a blanket) will work for this practice, too.
What should I wear? Loose comfortable clothing.
What does “spring” yoga nidra mean? I love weaving seasonal imagery into my nidras. One, because I love nature. Two, because I’m a firm believer that nature has a lot to teach us. What happens out in the world is reflected in our inner worlds, too, and paying attention to that is a way of being in relationship with natural cycles. This is one of four practices we’ll be holding at Bridge Refill this year. Spring rest. Summer rest. Autumn rest. Winter rest. Each with the same framework, but with timely, intentional theming.
How long is the practice? The event is one hour. That includes about 25 minutes of gentle movement, 25 minutes of yoga nidra, and 10 minutes of tea and transition time.
